Cancellation Policy
Effective from March 1, 2026
These cancellation conditions apply to all direct bookings made via hotelsova.sk, email, or telephone. Bookings through online travel agencies (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) are subject to the respective platform's terms.
I. General Provisions
Cancellation conditions apply to direct bookings (website, email, telephone). For OTA bookings (Booking.com, Expedia), the platform's terms apply. The decisive date is the receipt of written cancellation at frontdesk@hotelsova.sk.
II. Standard Period
Applies to regular periods outside high season and special events.

III. High Season
Stricter conditions apply during the following periods:
Applicable periods:
• Spring holidays 2026: Feb 16 – Mar 8, 2026
• Summer holidays 2026: Jul 1 – Aug 31, 2026
• Christmas holidays: Dec 23, 2026 – Jan 7, 2027
• Spring holidays 2027: Feb 15 – Mar 5, 2027

IV. Special Periods
Strictest conditions apply for these dates:

• Easter holidays: Apr 2 – Apr 7, 2026
• Autumn holidays: Oct 29 – Nov 1, 2026
• New Year's Eve: Dec 28, 2026 – Jan 2, 2027

V. Group Bookings
Special conditions apply for groups of 5+ rooms or 10+ guests:

💰 Deposit
A deposit of 50% of the total stay price is required for group bookings, payable within 7 days of booking confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled during a period when cancellation fees apply.
VI. No-show & Early Departure
✘ No-show
In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, a fee of 100% of the total stay will be charged. Remaining nights will be automatically cancelled after 24 hours.
⚠ Early departure
Early departure will be charged at 100% for unused nights of the reservation.
VII. Date Change
1.One free date change if the request is received at least 7 days before the original arrival.
2.The new date must be within 6 months of the original date.
3.Any price difference is payable by the guest.
4.Second and subsequent changes are treated as a new booking under current cancellation terms.
VIII. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions), we offer:
✔ Free date change (new date within 12 months)
✔ Voucher for the full stay amount (valid 12 months from issue)
IX. Non-refundable Rate
• 10 – 15% discount off the standard room rate.
• 100% non-refundable from the moment of booking confirmation.
• Cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
X. Refund Method
• Refunds are processed exclusively via bank transfer.
• The amount may be reduced by applicable bank fees.
• Processing time: within 14 business days of approval.
XI. Final Provisions
• These conditions are effective from March 1, 2026.
• Confirmed bookings are subject to the conditions in effect at the time of booking.
• The hotel reserves the right to amend these conditions with a minimum of 30 days' notice.
