Cancellation Policy

I. General Provisions
These cancellation policies apply to direct reservations made via the website www.hotelsova.sk, by email, or by phone. For reservations made through online travel agencies (Booking.com, Expedia, and others), the terms and conditions of the respective platform apply.
The decisive date for calculating the cancellation fee is the date of receipt of written notice of cancellation at frontdesk@hotelsova.sk.
The cancellation policy is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Hotelconsult s.r.o. published at www.hotelsova.sk/vop/.
II. Standard Period
Applies to all stays that do not fall under the peak season or special periods.
Cancellation Before Arrival Cancellation Fee
14 days or more: 0% – free
7 to 13 days: 50% of the total price of the stay
2 to 6 days: 80% of the total cost of the stay
Less than 48 hours or no-show: 100% of the total price of the stay
III. High Season
Applies to the following periods:

IV. Special Periods
Applies to the following holidays and vacation periods:

V. Group Reservations
Applies to groups of 5 rooms or 10 people or more.

60 days or more: 0% – free
30 to 59 days: 30% of the total cost of the stay
14 to 29 days: 70% of the total cost of the stay
Less than 14 days or no-show: 100% of the total cost of the stay
Deposit for group reservations: 50% of the total cost of the stay, payable within 7 days of reservation confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
VI. No-Show and Early Departure
No-show: If a guest fails to arrive without prior notice, the hotel will charge 100% of the total cost of the stay. Remaining nights will be canceled 24 hours after the scheduled arrival time.
Early Departure: If a guest departs before the originally booked date, the hotel will charge 100% for the unused nights.
VII. Date Change
The guest is entitled to one free date change if requested at least 7 days prior to the original arrival date.
The new dates must be within 6 months of the original date.
Any price difference is to be paid by the guest.
A second and any subsequent request for a change is considered a new reservation and is subject to current rates and terms.
VIII. Force Majeure
In the event of proven force majeure (natural disaster, epidemic, government-imposed restrictions on movement), the hotel will offer:
a free date change (new date within 12 months of the original date), or
a voucher for the full amount of the stay, valid for 12 months.
IX. Non-Refundable Rate
The hotel may offer rooms at a non-refundable discounted rate (typically 10–15% below the standard rate). The following applies to these reservations:
a 100% cancellation fee from the moment the reservation is confirmed,
a non-refundable rate regardless of the reason for cancellation,
cannot be combined with other discounts or voucher programs.
X. Refund Procedure
Refunds are issued exclusively via bank transfer to the guest’s IBAN. The amount may be reduced by any bank fees associated with the original payment. Refund processing time: within 14 business days of the hotel’s approval of the cancellation.
XI. Cancellation Procedure
The guest must notify the hotel of the cancellation:
via their Onboard account at www.hotelsova.sk/onboard/,
or by email to frontdesk@hotelsova.sk.
The notification must include: first and last name, reservation number, dates of stay, email address, and IBAN for the refund.
XII. Final Provisions
These cancellation policies are effective as of July 1, 2026. The hotel reserves the right to amend them with at least 30 days’ notice by publishing a new version on www.hotelsova.sk. The change does not apply to reservations confirmed prior to the effective date of the change.
Legal relationships not governed by these cancellation terms and conditions are subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Hotelconsult s.r.o. and the laws of the Slovak Republic.
